Privacy Policy

Information we collect

  • Uploaded photos. Each is re-encoded into a standard image format, which strips embedded metadata such as camera model or GPS location. The original file is removed once the converted copy exists.
  • The video generated from them.
  • An anonymous session cookie: a random token tying your browser to its drafts, videos and credits, valid for 30 days. Using the service never requires your name or email.
  • Payment records. Stripe handles card details; we only receive payment status, amount, currency and Stripe reference IDs, never the full card number.
  • Simple product events such as “photo added” or “video downloaded”, tied to the anonymous session. They never include photos, video links or email addresses.
  • Referral details: campaign tags on the link you arrived through (for example utm_source) and the referring site’s address without its query string. We store them in our own cookie for 30 days, link them to the anonymous session once a video is started, and include them in the Stripe checkout.
  • Google Analytics usage data, such as pages visited, device and browser type, an approximate location derived from the IP address, plus the events listed earlier. Google Analytics uses its own cookies to distinguish visits.
  • Technical data needed to keep the service running and secure, such as request logs and error codes.
  • Whatever you include if you email support, such as your address and message.

Why we use it

  • To produce, store and hand over your video.
  • To take payments, add and spend credits, and give credits back after a failed render.
  • To stop abuse, apply the Acceptable Use Policy and keep the service safe.
  • To spot, in aggregate, where people get stuck, so the product improves.

Personal information is never sold. Photos and videos are never used in ads, and never used to train AI models.

Processors and partners

Rendering means handing your photo(s) and our fixed scene directions to Kie, our AI provider. Kie stores copies on its file-hosting service and executes the job using models that ByteDance (OmniHuman) and Google (Nano Banana) develop and run. Those companies may handle the files on servers in other countries. Kie and the model makers set their own terms and retention periods, which we don’t control; the deletion times below cover our own storage only.

Stripe handles payments under its own privacy policy. Google Analytics, operated by Google under its own terms, measures site usage on our behalf; those events reference a random video ID only, never your photos, files or email. Hosting, database and private file-storage providers also process data on our behalf so the service can run.

Retention periods

  • Uploaded photos: erased within 24 hours after the render finishes, fails or is blocked.
  • Unused drafts and abandoned uploads: erased within 24 hours of creation.
  • Finished videos: erased 7 days after they’re ready.
  • Session cookie: expires after 30 days.
  • Referral cookie: expires after 30 days.
  • Google Analytics cookies: last up to 2 years; analytics data is kept for the period configured in our Google Analytics property, at most 14 months.
  • Payment and credit records: retained for as long as accounting, tax, fraud-prevention or legal obligations demand.

Nothing is public

We never publish your photos or videos. A video page or download opens only in the browser session that made it, or through the signed link we show you, which works for anyone holding it. To share, download the file or send that link only to people you trust.

Your options

  • No cookie is created until you upload; the generator needs it to function.
  • Google Analytics can be switched off through browser privacy controls, an ad or content blocker, or the official opt-out extension at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout; the makers work fine without it.
  • You can delete the cookie whenever you like in your browser settings; afterwards, earlier drafts and videos can’t be reopened here.
  • You can ask us what personal data we hold or ask for earlier deletion. With no accounts, we may need something like your video page address to locate it.

Minors

The service isn’t aimed at children, and the Acceptable Use Policy forbids photos of anyone under 18.

Security and updates

Files sit in private storage and are delivered only to the browser session they belong to. Perfect security doesn’t exist, so we collect as little as we can and keep it briefly. If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
